Description sommaire du projet ( 1000 mots max ) To address the severe agricultural challenges in the Grand North region of Cameroon, which contribute to high poverty rates, we propose an integrated e-farm solution. This solution includes an advanced application and a comprehensive farm kit designed to improve soil-crop matching, enhance remote monitoring, and manage irrigation efficiently. The e-farm application will use AI to analyze soil data and recommend suitable crops, while real-time soil and moisture sensors will provide critical information on soil conditions and enable automated irrigation through a smart water pump. By integrating these technologies, farmers will benefit from optimized crop choices, precise water management, and timely alerts for better decision-making, ultimately boosting productivity, reducing crop loss, and alleviating poverty for the region’s over 500,000 farmers.
